This week University of Albany competed in their first Tristate Dual Meet vs SUNY Oneonta and Keystone University!

This was the college’s first Dual meet in 30 Years!! Coach Lamountain Has Spear headed the rebirth of College Wrestling in Albany and we are proud to be helping the guys train here at Clever Combat. 

Although they lost both duals they managed to put up impressive performances and Get Some Individual victories in the Dual. 

On top of that, one of our high school wrestlers, Aiyana Santana, received Athlete of the Week Honors From the Times Union Newspaper!!

 

Coming off a strong showing this week winning her 2nd Kristine Stanglien Gold Medal, Aiyana had 4 pins and one tech fall, stamping her place as the #1 spot in section 2 138 women’s rankings!

Our Wrestlers have all been having an amazing season so far but leading up to Sectionals this last month matters more than anything!
